    Growing up in a time of change: Living in the time of Dr. Martin Luther King and the happenings at Kent State, David was there for it all. He was there when the Beatles broke into America, and the doors of perception opened up in the Decade of Love and War. After Graduating in , David entered the military as a conscientious objector. I was stringer and staff photographer and set up the dark room for The Berkeley Barb, founded and owned by Max Scheer.
